Opening of Conference
Se reunen todos los participantes al Congreso en la Sala del Hotel Peninsula donde tendran lugar las conferencias y talleres . EN el cCongreso es muy interesante que parte de las tareas tendran lugar en esta sala y otras tendran lugar en el Centro Cultural Caracol . Un centro que ha abierto hace poco su local en una antigua casa de Puerto Madryn y que ofrecio su espacio para que los congresistas tuvieran la posibilidad de presentar sus trabajos a la comunidad y a su vez esta tuviera la posibilidad de participar en los mismos aprendiendo y experimentando el Sociodrama como instrumento de trabajo grupal y comunitario .
All Conference participants gather in the Hotel Peninsula Room where conferences and workshops will take place. It is very interesting to point out that part of the work will be done in this room and others will be done in the Centro Cultural Caracol. This center was open not very long ago, in an old house in Puerto Madryn. They offered their space so that the conference participants could have the possibility to present their works to the community and at the same time, the community had the possibility to participate in the workshops, learning and experimenting Sociodrama as an instrument of community group work.
Si bien el Congreso tiene el Auspicio de la Secretaria de Cultura de Puerto Madryn y a traves de la misma el de la Municipalidad y Turismo, no participan en la apertura los resposables de la misma sino que la apertura queda a cargo de los organizadores del congreso .
Although the Conference has the auspice of the Cultural Secretariat in Puerto Madryn and through it of the Municipality and Tourism, no authorities came to the opening session, so this opening was carried out by the organizers of the Conference.
Se abre la reunion , en la pantalla se ven una serie de fotos de los presentes a traves de los años comenzando por Beacon con una foto deJL Moreno ,Zerka Moreno , Monica Zuretti y muchas mas que muestran momentos de encuentro en diferentes lugares en el mundo donde muchos de los presentes se han encontrado hasta llegar a la actualidad y alternan con fotos de ballenas y de encuentros tambien entre muchos de los presentes y ellas en diferentes instancias .
The meeting starts. In the screen there are pictures of some of the participants through de years, beginning by Beacon with a picture of J.L. Moreno, Zerka Moreno, Monica Zuretti and many more, showing moments of encounter in different places in the world where many of those who are present have met, until we get to the now . There are also pictures of whales and encounters of many of those present here in different circumstances.
Comienzan las presentaciones transcurrido un minuto la comunicación con Zerka Moreno que hasta ese momento no se sabia si se podria o no establecer aparece y es una comunicación telefonica . La maravilla es que el Congreso es directamente abierto por las palabras de Zerka Moreno que ya que hay abiertas distintas comunicaciones en Skype que llegan a diversas partes en el mundo, Italia, Portugal, Canada … llegan a los cuatro puntos cardinales .
Presentations start. After one minute, the communication with Zerka Moreno – uncertain up to that moment - connects by phone. The marvel of it all is that the Conference was actually opened directly with Zerka Moreno’s words, for this opening session was also linked to Skype and many others were present in other parts of the world like Italy, Portugal, Canada, and everybody was listening to these words from the North, South, East and West.
La voz de Zerka Moreno se multiplica en dobles y traducciones ya que no tenemos la tecnologia para oir su vosz en alto parlante pero algo casi magico ocurre .
Zerka Moreno’s voice multiplies itself in doubles and translations for we don’t have the proper equipment to hear her by the loudspeaker, but something magical takes place.
Todos tenemos la impresion de oir directamente su voz . Nos envuelve su dulzura y certeza . Da el mensaje claro de la necesidad de continuar el trabajo de Encuentro y multiplcacion de la tarea de los Sociopsicodramatistas . Nos hace recordar la pertenencia a una red y como en diversos lugares en el mundo en este momento se encuentran grupos de psicodramatistas que coinciden en un objetivo de encuentro y coneccion.
We all have the impression of listening to her voice directly. A feeling of sweetness and certainty is around us. Her message is clear: The need to continue the work of Encounter and multiplication of the Sociopsychodramatist’s task. She reminds us of our being part of a network and as in many places in the world, at that moment there are psychodramatists groups coinciding with an objective of encounter and connection.
Habla de nuestra pertenencia cosmica y planetaria que nos permite comprender que tambien que las ballenas son seres que habitan ese Cosmos en este planeta “Donde somos uno mas ¨ .
She speaks about us being planetary and cosmic beings that understand that whales are also beings living in this Cosmos, in this planet “Where we are one more”.
Nos sugiere mirar al cielo en la noche estrellada mirar las estrellas y tomar conciencia que es un espejo de nosotros mismos porque tambien nosotros formamos parte de ese cielo de estrellas Saluda a todos les desea un feliz Congreso y buen trabajo y dice. . Her words, "Say Yes to the whales" became a theme for the conference. Each participant seemed to find their own important message from the presence of these magnificent creatures. Luego se despide diciendo directamente a Monica: “Hasta pronto querida” y la ola de amor que invade al auditorio incluye a todos y cada uno de los presentes .
She suggests that we look up at the sky in the starry night, “look up at the starts and be conscious that it is a mirror of ourselves because we also are a part of that starry sky.”
She greets everybody and wishes a happy Congress and a good work, and she says...
“Díganle SI a las ballenas”. Esto se volvió un tema para la conferencia. Cada participante pareció encontrar su propio mensaje importante con la presencia de estas creaturas magníficas. Citando a Jeanne Burger.
After that, she bids her good bye saying directly to Monica: “See you soon, darling” and the wave of love invading the audience includes each and every one of those present.

After that, Lic. Débora Penna sings the Congess song “Shines and shadows” by Nicolás Echaniz that with its phrase “The Light Finds the Way” gave birth to the 3rd. Congress name. The recording can be found in Debora Penna’s Facebook.
Ella relata como esta cancion es relato de lo vivido por ella y tantos otros donde los momentos de sombras fueron acompañados por muchos de los presentes en el camino del psicodrama y habla de la Luz que encuentra el camino si la dejamos actuar en nosotros . Seguramente es un sentimiento compartido por muchos de los presentes. Y el Congreso comienza su transcurrir con las bellas palabras de la Madre del Psicodrama y los sonidos se una cancion profunda , que marca un camino e imagenes de encuentro que se manifiestan .
She says how this song tells about what she herself lived and many others when dark moments were accompanied by many who were present in the psychodrama road and it talks about de Light finding the way if we let it act in us. It is surely a feeling shared by many of those present. And the Congress starts with the beautiful words of the Mother of Psychodrama and the sounds are a deep song, showing a way and images of the encounter, manifesting.

Durante esa presentacion se da un dialogo muy enriquecedor entre los integrantes de la misma que desde su lugar comparten hsitorias, teoria, proyectos, formacion.
During this presentation there is a very rich dialogue between the speakers; they share stories, theory, projects, training.
Dos de los integrates Marcia y Monica pueden aportar recuerdos de la misma epoca de directo contacto con Dr Moreno en Beacon el World Center of Psychodrama ,Moreno Institute. Se encuentra tambien en la sala Elaine Sachnof que tambien fuera alumna de J L Moreno entre los numerosos participantes de diez y seis paises.
Two of them, Marcia and Mónica, bring up memories of the times when they were in direct contact with Dr. Moreno at the Beacon, the World Center of Psychodrama, Moreno Institute. In the room filled with participants coming from sixteen different countries there is Elaine Sachnof who was also a J.L.Moreno’s student herself.

Marcia Karp habla de su experiencia en Beacon con Moreno cuando el la llamara a hablar con ella y reconociera su capacidad reconociendola como Genio, luego compartiendo con los otros integrantes de su grupo mismo en aquel momento ,descubre que a todos les habia trasmitido el mimso mensaje, en aquel momento le costo entenderlo en cambio con el tiempo la comprension del mismo se da cuando descubre que el concepto de Dios en las Palabras del Padre de Moreno se refiere a la chispa divina que existe en todos y cada uno y la necesidad de valorizarla y reconocerla, corrigiendo asi la tan comun interpretacion de que se referia a si mismo, al hablar de esta capacidad, lo que impidio por mucho tiempo entender el verdadero mensaje:
la necesidad imperiosa de devolver esta realidad de ser parte de un cosmos creativo y parte de Dios a la humanidad. Asi llegamos a la necesidad de valoracion de cada uno de los integrantes de un grupo de una sociedad.
Marcia Karp talks about her experience with Moreno in Beacon, when he would call her to talk to her so that she could recognize her own capacities, recognizing her as a Genious, and then when she shared this moment with the rest of the group then, she finds out that everybody else had received the same message. It was difficult for her to understand, but in time, she discovers the concept of God in the Words of the Father by Moreno when he refers to the divine spark existing in each and every one and the need to be recognized and worthy, thus correcting the common interpretation that he was making reference to himself, when talking about this capacity. For a long time this made it complicated to get the real message: the strong need to give back to human kind this reality, to be part of a creative Cosmos and a part of God. This is how we get to the need of valuing each one of the members of a group in society.
Luego trae la experiencia Sociodramatica en Grecia durante la crisis y la necesidad que manifestaran las personas en aquel momento de compartir lo que les estaba ocurriendo y evitar asi la desvalorizacion que las multiples privaciones les significaban. es sumamente interesante que el comentario sobre el sociodrama de Marcia es en relacion a la crisis en Grecia .
Los que estuvimos en el anterior Congreso de Sociodrama en Suecia Finlandia no podemos dejar de relacionar esa situacion tan dificil surgida en la matriz social de Grecia, con la escena mas dolorosa que se dramatizo en el sociodrama sobre la amistad que se realizara en el viaje de Estocolmo a Helsinsky.
La muerte de un niño en una plaza de Atenas, una muerte dolorosa sin razon y que al darle palabras al niño lo que dijo es : Dejenme jugar ¨. Tema que se continuara seguramente en el Tercer Congreso en Puerto Madryn.
Then she brings the Sociodramatic experience in Greece during the crisis and the need expressed by the people at that time to share what was happening to them and thus avoid the devaluation and multiple deprivations they were suffering. Those who were present at the Previous Sociodrama Conference in Sweden-Finland cannot help to relate such a difficult situation that came up in Greece’s social matrix with the most painful scene dramatized in the sociodrama on friendship that took place during the trip from Stockholm to Helsinky.
The death of a child in an Athen’s square, a painful and meaningless death. When the child put words on it he said: “Let me play”. This is a subject that surely will be continued in the Third Congress in Puerto Madryn.
Caldeamiento: Rene Marineau propone realizar pares y encontrarse con aquellos que consideramos pueden tener algo en comun con nosotros y expresar lo que queremos dejar y lo que es importante para nosotros “ un calentamiento interesante de René Marineau que nos pidió que eligiéramos alguien de otro país y que compartiéramos nuestros prejuicios estereotípicos o personales con ese país. Sucedieron muchos encuentros esclarecedores.

Warm up: René Marineau proposes to make pairs and find those that we think may have something in common with us and express what we want to get rid of and what is important for us”. “an interesting warm up by René Marineau who asked us to chose someone from another country to share our stereotypical or personal prejudices with that country. Many interesting encounters took place.” Jeanne Burger.
Es muy importante en este caldeamiento que se incluya la historia de cada uno . Se aclara que un sociodrama implica mas mucho mas que aquellos presentes porque detras de cada uno de nosotros esta la memoria de lo vivido por aquellos nuestro antepasados y lo que ocurriera con ellos. Es sumamente importante que una de las protagonistas que surgiera de este caldeamiento trae la historia de su tio que emigrara de Dinamarca a Argentina y como la comunicación con el se mantuvo hasta que en un momento se corto y ella no sabia que habia ocurrido con él. Elige para el rol a Fernan Rodriguez Cetran el autor de el diseñ o de la ballena blanca que es el simbolo del Congreso ambos estan muy emocionados al encontrarse y el tio puede decir a su sobrina la alegria que le da que alla venido a conocer el mundo donde el habia vivido y copmartirlo con ella . Se abrazan y ella manifiesta que recien en ese momento se da cuenta lo joven casi adolecente que era su tio al emprender ese viaje .
It is very important for this warm up to include each one’s history. It is explained that a sociodrama implies much more than those who are present in the room because behind each one of us there is the memory of what it was lived by our ancestors and what happened to them. One of the protagonists coming out of this warm up brings up the story of her uncle who emigrated from Denmark to Argentina, how they communicated for some time until it ended and she never knew whatever had happened to him. She choses Fernan Rodriguez Cetran for the rol, the designer of the Conference logo. They are both very moved when they find eachother and the uncle can tell his niece how happy he is that she came to know the part of the world where he had lived and shared with her. They hug and she says that only then she realizes how young, almost a teen ager, was her uncle when he parted for that journey.
Esta escena la comparten con su yo auxiliar cuyo tartarabuelo el primero en venir de Italia , de la linea de artistas a la cual pertenece , comparte con el tio de la protagonista el nombre Juan y tambien habia dado ese salto a una muy temprana edad. Vemos asi tele en accion , como en ese grupo de personas tantas comparten escenas con similitudes como se vera en el compartir donde surgen numerosas situaciones semejantes de una humanidad que constantemente en movimiento abre puertas de comunicación, crea lazos nuevos y la sufre perdidas al contruir esta red
La otra protagonista que se manifiesta en la accion habla de la niñez y de su necesidad de proteger a los niños , habiendo sido ella misma una niña maltratada y que ahora trabajaba profesionalmente para y con niños .
These secene is shared with the auxiliay ego's, his great grandfather was the first one in coming from Italy, from the artistic lineage he comes from; he carries the same name, Juan, as the protagonist’s uncle and he also had left in his early youth.
We can see then Tele in accion , during the sharing we will hear many histories of a humanity that is constantly in movement then creating links,and comunication and at the same time that suffers creating this network .
The other protagonist manifesting in the action talks about the childhood and her need to protect the children, having herself been an abused child and now works professionally for and with children.
Luego Rene Marineau trae la historia del Sociodrama, los comienzos de Moreno, como no separaba Sociodrama del Psicodrama al principio , un comentario al principio de sus escritos donde Moreno habla del Sociopsicodrama .
Hace en ese momento un interesante comentario sobre la necesidad de recuperar la totalidad del metodo y usar complementariamente todos los instrumentos que posee .
Monica Zuretti habla de su concepto sobre el Sociopsicodrama como un instrumento que permite entender la matriz social por medio de sus integrantes y preveer situaciones . Marca la manifestacion anticipada de un lugar de crisis posterior como la situacion de Grecia ya descripta.
Then René Marineau brings up the Sociodrama history, Moreno’s beginnings, how at the beginning he did not separate Sociodrama from Psychodrama, a comment at the beginning of his writings where Moreno talks about Sociopsychodrama.
At that point he makes a comment about the need to recover that totality of the method and to use complementarily all the instruments it has.
Monica Zuretti talks about her concept about Sociopsychodrama as an instrument allowing the social matrix understanding through those who form it and foresee situations. It points out the anticipated manifestation of a place of past crisis, as it was the situation in Greece, already mentioned.
Cuenta como ella descubrio esta relacion entre lo que se manifestaba en los grupos y la matriz social en la epoca del IV Congreso Internacional de Psicodrama en Buenos Aires en 1969. Si bien el Congreso fue un éxito aquellos que lo organizaron se dividieron en grupos despues, anticipando la lucha fratricida que ocurriria poco despues en el pais . Hace la propuesta de mirarnos a nosotros mismos como un grupo hipercargado de situacions que manifestamos anticipadamente lo que ocurrira despues.
She talks about how she discovered this relationship between what the groups manifested and the social matrix during the IV International Psychodrama Congress in Buenos Aires in 1969. Althoug the Congress was a success, those who organized it were divided in groups afterwards, anticipating the fratricide that was to take place later on in the country. She proposes to look at ourselves as a group overwhelmed with situations that we are manifesting before they happen.
Sugirere la necesidad como grupo de tomar en cuenta que lo primero es Curarse a si mismo y mirar en que momento estamos manifestando anticipadamente y en que momentos podemos sanar lo que esta sucediendo para cumplir la mision que como sociodramatistas nos espera .
She suggests the need to take into consideration as a group that the first thing is Heal oneself and register when we are manifesting in advance, and when we can heal what is happening in order to comply with the mission expected of a psychodramatist.
Esta apertura nos pone ya en contacto con diversas lineas de trabajo que se manifetaran
durante los dias subsiguientes. La Luz va iluminando diversos aspectos de la comunicación, la matriz grupal, la red que se formara según vaya transcurriendo el tiempo los encuentros y el trabajo .
This approach places us already in tune with many different lines of work that will manifest during the following days. The Light is throwing clarity over many aspects of communication, group matrix, the network that will become, as time goes bye and the encounters and the work take place.
Hemos actualizado la historia y la hemos hecho presente con la conversacion de Zerka los recuerdos de Marcia las reflecciones de Rene y hemos delineado la necesidad de trabajar sobre nuestro propio modo de entender nuestro trabajo y nuestra funcion o mision en el planeta.
We have up-dated the history and we have made it come to the present through the conversation with Zerka, Marcia’s remembrances, René’s reflexions and we have pointed out the need to work on our own way to understand our work and our task or mission in the planet.

Biodance: Norma Cáceres. The Dawn of Sociopsychodrama”
During the sociopsychodrama, the subject is the group and the inter-relations in it will allow the dawn of the encounter and the transformation to take place.
Durante la biodanza de todo el grupo del Congreso se cumple lo propuesto por Norma y la red de vinculos comienza a tomar una estructura luminosa . Las diferentes propuestas de danza y cuidado desde el corazón hace que terminemos el dia con alegria
During the biodance the whole Congress group complies with Norma’s proposal and the network of bonding begins to take a bright structure. The different dance proposals and the care from the heart makes of this day a happy ending.
Empanadas vino y agua.Tenemos un largo dia al dia siguiente en nuestro programado contacto con las ballenas .
Empanadas, wine and water. Tomorrow we have a long day ahead with our scheduled contact with the whales.
